A 17-year-old girl reported an incident of sexual assault that occurred on November 12, 2025. The survivor filed a complaint on November 24 at the Area Police Office, Hariban, identifying Suraj Karki, 24 of Hariban Municipality–11 as the alleged perpetrator.
Inspector Chandrakant Adhikari of the Area Police Office, Hariban, stated that the accused has not been located since the report was filed, and the police have begun search and investigation procedures.
The survivor received a medical examination on November 24 at Sarlahi District Hospital, Malangwa.
