A complaint has been filed at the Area Police Office, Mirchaiya, on November 5 against Pawan Kumar Raya, 19, of Tilathi Koiladi Rural Municipality-3, Saptari, accusing him of raping a 13-year-old girl on October 19. The victim underwent a medical examination at the Provincial Hospital, Siraha, on November 5. According to DSP Rajesh Puri of the Area Police Office, Mirchaiya, the accused has been absconding since the incident, and a search is ongoing.
