Police have arrested Ayodhya Prasad Chamar, 42 of Pratappur Rural Municipality–2, Sonvarsha, on October 28, on charges of raping a seven-year-old girl.
According to police, the victim’s family filed a complaint at the Bardaghat Area Police Office on October 27, alleging that the accused had raped the minor that same day.
The girl underwent a medical examination at Prithvi Chandra District Hospital, Parasi, on October 28.
