Police arrested Man Bishwakarma,46, of Kanchan Rural Municipality-3, Sogar, on October 19 for the charge of attempting to rape a 20-year-old woman with physical and intellectual disabilities.
According to the police, the victim’s family filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Saljhandi, on October 17, stating that the accused had attempted to rape the woman on October 14. The victim underwent a medical examination on October 19 at Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Butwal.
