Police arrested Tek Nath Karki, 52, of Dhajedanda, Ilam Municipality-9, on October 21 on charges of raping a 22-year-old woman on October 20. The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the District Police Office on October 21, accusing Karki of raping the woman. Acting on the complaint, police arrested the suspect for investigation.
The victim underwent a medical examination on October 21 at the District Hospital.
