Police have arrested Shakti Singh Kami, 32, of Chhayannath Rara Municipality-5 from his house on December 15 on the charge of raping a 28-year-old woman.
According to DSP Subhas Hamal of the District Police Office, the accused had raped the victim on November 30. He was arrested on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim at the District Police Office on December 1.
The health examination of the victim was conducted at the District Hospital on December 1, said Dr. Arjun Bham.
