Chandra Rai, 37, of Mapya Dudhkoshi Rural Municipality-4 has been arrested by the police on March 30, 2022 on the charge of killing his wife Manila Rai, 37.
Inspector Rishi Raj Dhakal of the District Police Office said that the accused was arrested from the crime scene for investigation after the locals informed the police that the he had killed his wife by stabbing her with a Khukuri during a dispute.
The post-mortem of the body was conducted at the District Hospital on March 31.
On the same day, the victim’s body was cremated at the Phaplu forest in Solu Dudhkund Municipality-4.
