Police have arrested Prakash Hingmang, 32, of Dorpa Chiuridanda in Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadi Municipality-7 on January 19 on the charge of raping a 16-year-old girl.
The victim had lodged a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office on January 18 accusing him of raping her on January 9, 2022.
Inspector Sagar Sah of the District Police Office told INSEC that the accused was arrested from his house on January 19 on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim.
The victim’s health checkup was conducted at the District Hospital on January 18.
