Police have arrested Umesh Prasad Chaudhary, 44, a Health Inspector working at Sipapokhare Health Post in Indravati Rural Municipality-8 from his permanent residence in Balara Municipality-9 of Sarlahi District on January 16, 2022, on the charge of raping an 18-year-old girl.
According to Inspector Haribol KC of the District Police Office, the victim had lodged a complaint at the Area Police Office on January 14 alleging that Chaudhary had raped her by calling her at Sipapokhare Health Post on December 6, 2021.
The victim has been examined at Nawalpur Primary Health Center on January 14.
