The district court of Chitwan has ordered 19 years of imprisonment to a 23-year-old man for raping a 10-year-old girl.
District Judge Shakuntala Karki’s bench gave the verdict on December 24, 2021, informed Shrestedar Rudramani Giri. The accused is still absconding.
The victim was raped on February 1, 2019, and the complaint was filed on February 2 at the District Police Office, Chitwan.
The health checkup of the victim was conducted on February 2 at Bharatpur Hospital.
