Police have arrested Hari Bahadur BK, 37, of Chanuwa in Mahalaxmi Municipality-4 on November 11, 2021, on the charge of attempting to rape a 27-year-old woman.
The victim had lodged a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office on November 8 after the accused attempted to rape her on the same day.
According to DSP Deepak Kumar Raya of the District Police Office told INSEC that the accused was arrested from his residence for investigation based on the complaint lodged by the victim.
The medical examination of the victim was conducted at the District Hospital on November 9, informed Dr. Pujan Bishwakarma, Acting Medical Superintendent of the hospital.
