Police have arrested Prahlad Rai, 25, of Rautamai Rural Municipality-5, Kalimati on October 28 on the charge of raping a 20-year-old girl.
The victim had lodged a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office on October 28 alleging that the accused had raped her on the same day.
The accused was arrested for investigation based on the complaint lodged by the victim, said Uma Gurung, Women and Senior Citizen Service Centre of the District Police Office. The victim has been examined at the District Hospital on October 28.
