Police have arrested Bikram Chaudhari, 22, of Tikapur Municipality-6 Bhagwanpur on the charge of raping a 34-year-old woman.
Victim’s sister in law had lodged a complaint against the accused on Area Police Office, Tikapur on October 6 stating that the accused rape the victim on 29th September 2021.
Inspector of Area Police Office, Tikapur, Lalbahadur told INSEC that the accused has been arrested from his home based on the complaint lodged by the victim and the investigation is going on upon adding the date of appearance from the district court on October 8, 2021.
The health examination of the victim has been conducted at the Tikapur Hospital on October 6.
