Supreme Court Instructs To Start Measles Vaccination Immediately

Supreme Court has instructed the government to start the National Measles Vaccination Campaign Immediately.

The bend of Justice Bam Kumar Shrestha instructed this on 11 May 2020.

After the risk of coronavirus infection had increased, the Ministry of Health and Population has released a notice on 23 March 2020 to hold the Measles Vaccination Campaign. The vaccination campaign hasn’t resumed since then.

Advocate Santosh Bhandari presented a writ application claiming it to have an adverse effect on the health of children.

Supreme Courts have instructed to resume the campaign immediately to stop any adverse effect on the health of children.
