Police arrested Buddhi Bahadur Bishwokarma, 55, of Tallo Hachuwa, Kerabari Rural Municipality-3, on July 1, on charges of raping a seven-year-old girl.
The victim’s family filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Kerabari, on June 30, accusing Bishwokarma of raping the victim on June 29.
The victim underwent a medical examination on June 30 at Koshi Hospital in Biratnagar.
