Police arrested Pasang Sherpa, 25, of Bagha, Madi Municipality-7, on June 16, on charges of raping a 46-year-old woman.
The victim’s family filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Chainpur, accusing Pasang of raping the victim on June 15.
The victim underwent a medical examination at the Primary Health Post in Chainpur.
