Accused Arrested in Rape Case

Police arrested Katak Buda, 25, of Rupsa, Narharinath Rural Municipality-6, on June 15, on charges of raping a 16-year-old girl.

The victim’s family filed a complaint at the District Police Office, Kalikot, on June 15, 2026, alleging that the accused raped the girl on June 14, 2026, when she had come to Manma in Khandachakra Municipality–1 to sit for her SEE supplementary examination.

According to the District Police Office, Kalikot, the victim underwent a medical examination on June 15 at the district hospital in Kalikot.
