Police arrested a 49-year-old father on June 9 on charges of raping his 12-year-old daughter.
The victim’s family filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Letang, on June 9, stating that the accused had subjected the victim to rape for the past six years, with the recent incident occurring on June 8.
The victim underwent a medical examination on June 9 at Mangalbare Hospital, Urlabari.
