Police arrested Raju BK, 40, of Deumai Municipality-3, on charges of raping a 40-year-old woman.
The victim’s family filed a complaint at the District Police Office on March 30, claiming the accused raped the victim on March 29.
Bk was taken into custody for investigation on March 30 following the complaint.
The victim underwent a medical examination at the district hospital on March 30.
