Police arrested Chhatra Bahadur Ale Magar,62 of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-14 on December 7 for the charge of raping a 13-year-old girl.
Victim’s father informed th INSEC representative that the accused allegedly took advantage of the girl being alone at home and raped her on November 28. The family filed a complaint with the police on December 7. Based on the complaint, the police arrested the accused and subsequently registered the case on December 9. Inspector Kailash Bista of the District Police Office, Kailali, stated that a five-day remand extension has been granted to continue the investigation.
The victim underwent a medical examination on December 8 at Seti Provincial Hospital, Dhangadhi.
