Police arrested a 17-year-old boy of Phedap Rural Municipality-5 on November 12 for raping a 17-year-old girl. According to Inspector Roshan Kamati of the District Police Office, the aggrieved party filed a complaint November 11 stating that the girl was raped on the same day. Following the complaint, the police took the accused into custody for investigation.
The victim underwent a medical examination at the District Hospital on November 12.
