A complaint was filed at Melamchi Police Station on November 9 against a 22-year-old man accused of raping a 17-year-old girl on August 26. Inspector Rupesh Shah of the District Police Office stated that the accused has remained absconding since the incident and is currently being searched for.
The victim underwent a medical examination on November 9 at the Melamchi Primary Health Center. It has been reported that the victim and the accused are siblings.
