Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Nepal has organized a press meet in Sunsari on June 22 and demanded for the severe action against those who attacked and injured their cadres with Khukuri.
Chairman Rohit Karki of RPP Sunsari through a press meet on June 22 demanded the action against the attackers. The ward chairman candidate Shyam Pokhrel,35 and ward member candidate Khadga Kimar Shrestha,38 was attacked with Khukuri on the night of June 20.
Karki accused state of not being able to give proper security. An unidentified group of three people have attacked the candidates with Khukuri near Triveni college in Biratnagar.
DSP Naresh Raj Subedi of Area Police Office, Itahari said that the investigation is underway.
