The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 979,127 after additional nine new cases were detected positive in Nepal on May 29, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 967,065 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.8% along with the 13 latest recovered. There are 110 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 2,366 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,952. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, no death was recorded. On May 29, 990 people were tested through the antigen process and three were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,234 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till May 29, 19,828,687 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
