Police arrested Saroj Kapar, 28, of Aurahi Rural Municipality-4, on June 29, 2026, on charges of misusing the photograph of a 20-year-old woman by posting it on social media on April 21, 2026, with the intent of defaming her character.
Claiming that the incident had caused serious harm to her social reputation and mental well-being, the victim had filed a complaint against Saroj Kapar at the Area Police Office, Aurahi, on April 23, 2026. Police Constable Lakhendra Shah stated that an investigation into the incident is underway.
