A 15-year-old boy held at the child reform home in Biratnagar Metropolitan City–3 has escaped from the hospital during a health check-up.
According to the reform home administration, the boy fled while being taken to Koshi Hospital on April 29 for a routine medical examination.
Police said the boy, a resident of Kalyanpur Rural Municipality–1 in Saptari district, escaped through a ventilation opening while he had gone to the restroom after the check-up.
Police have launched a serach operation to locate the boy.
