Bikash Sharma, 30, an inmate who had escaped from the Central Jail, Jagannathdewal, Kathmandu, on September 9, 2025, was arrested by the police from Parsa on April 26.
Sharma, a resident of Bagaha, Betiya Thana, Bihar district of India, was arrested while he was hiding in Ramgadhawa of Birgunj Metropolitan City–24, said DSP Hari Bahadur Basnet. He was serving a 25-year sentence in a case related to kidnapping and killing, DSP Basnet added.
