Lumbini Province to Provide Treatment Cost Support to Conflict Victims

The Lumbini Provincial Government has announced that it will provide financial assistance for medical treatment to conflict victims who were injured, disabled, or left physically impaired during the armed conflict.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law of Lumbini Province issued a public notice on March 20, stating that financial support will be provided under the “Conflict Victim Treatment Cost Program” to injured, disabled, and physically impaired individuals. The ministry has called on interested Nepali citizens to submit applications within 30 days.

According to the ministry, applications can be submitted via email. Applicants must include a copy of their Nepali citizenship certificate, a recent passport-size photograph, a recommendation letter from the District Administration Office confirming injury, disability, or impairment during the armed conflict, a medical report or recommendation from a hospital or doctor identifying the health condition, and other relevant supporting documents.

The ministry has urged applicants to submit their applications with all required documents within the deadline, stating that the program aims to provide relief to genuine victims.
