Over 50 Polling Stations in Baglung Classified Highly Sensitive

In Baglung, which has two electoral constituencies for the House of Representatives election, 55 polling stations have been classified as highly sensitive.

Out of the 107 polling stations and 230 polling centers in the two constituencies, 55 polling stations have been identified as highly sensitive, according to the District Security Committee.

According to the analysis conducted by the District Security Committee, 55 polling stations are highly sensitive, 24 are sensitive, and 28 are normal, informed Krishna Prasad Acharya, the Coordinator of the District Security Committee and Chief District Officer of Baglung.

The classification of polling stations into highly sensitive, sensitive, and normal was done based on security sensitivity, the number of voters, geographical remoteness, road accessibility, infrastructure of the polling stations, and activities in previous elections, informed Coordinator Acharya of the Security Committee. According to him, security arrangements have been made based on the basis of sensitivity.

One polling station has been added, and one polling center has been reduced for the upcoming House of Representatives election scheduled on March 5. Two polling stations have been relocated, informed Yagya Prasad Rizal, Chief of the District Election Office, Baglung. In the election to be held on March 5, there are 193,381 voters.
