For the upcoming House of Representatives election to be held on March 5, 2026, 6,687 new voters have been added in Dolakha.
According to Bishal KC, Information Officer at the Dolakha District Election Office, a total of 6,687 new voters registered their names in the voter list by the final date for registration and updating, which was November 21, 2025.
According to Information Officer KC, out of the total, 5,228 people registered through their national identity cards, 1,400 people registered in person at the office, and 59 people registered from other districts.
Among the newly added voters, 175 are from Kalinchok Rural Municipality, 152 from Gaurishankar Rural Municipality, 75 from Jiri Municipality, 425 from Bhimeshwar Municipality, 108 from Melung Rural Municipality, 101 from Bigu Rural Municipality, 152 from Baiteshwor Rural Municipality, 99 from Shailung Rural Municipality, and 59 from other districts, Information Officer KC stated.
