Mahabir Chaudhary, 51 from Tulsipur, Dang, has been arrested by the police on December 11 on charges of shooting and killing Niraj Tharu, 28 on December 7 at Hamar Tharu Restaurant, Ward No. 4, Rajapur Municipality, Bardiya.
He had fired and killed him at Hamar Tharu Restaurant, Ward No. 4, Rajapur Municipality, on December 7. The main accused in the murder case had fled immediately after the incident. The police arrested the main accused in the shooting case from Kailali on December 11, said Inspector Prakash Singh Karki of the District Police Office.
Earlier, the police had taken into custody Ram Kumari Chaudhary, Buddhi Chaudhary, and Rahul Chaudhary, the operators of Hamar Tharu Restaurant in Ward No. 4, Rajapur Municipality, for questioning.
The deceased Tharu had been working at a poultry farm in Ward No. 4, Rajapur Municipality.
