Police have arrested three individuals Poonam Thakur, 27 and Pramod Mahato, 27 of Barathawa Municipality-1, Sarlahi District, and Sagar Ghatane, 43 also known as Rom Bahadur Ghatane, of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-8—on different dates for their alleged involvement in vandalism and arson at the Bagmati Provincial Assembly Secretariat building and the District Traffic Police Office.
Similarly Sujan Adhikari, 36 and Surendra Magar, 35 of Nawalpur, Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-11, have been arrested on charges of setting fire to the house of Sushil Poudel, 45 of the same area, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Pushkar Bogati, spokesperson for the Makwanpur District Police Office.
They have been remanded in custody with permission from the Makwanpur District Court for further investigation
