Demanding fair wages, nurses in Chitwan have been continuously protesting since October 18, 2025. In recent days, nurses working in private hospitals across various parts of the country have been staging demonstrations, calling for an increase in their salaries.
In Chitwan, the nurses held a protest on October 29, marching from Chaubiskothi to Hakimchowk while carrying placards.
The nurses have taken to the streets demanding that they receive the benefits and facilities prescribed by the government.
