Police arrested Saroj Thapa,32, of Mahadevsthan, Checkpost, Chandragiri Municipality-6 on September 24, on charges of killing Pavitra KC, 68, of the same place. The aggrieved party filed a complaint with Thankot Police Station on September 24, alleging that the accused had killed Pavitra KC. The body was sent for post-mortem at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital on September 25. According to Police Assistant Inspector Tirtha Raj Regmi of Thankot Police Station, the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
