INSEC has released an appeal on November 12, 2021, asking the public and the stakeholders to give and collect correct information in the census so that the state can make programs and policies prioritizing targeted groups and communities.
The appeal issued by Dr. Indira Shrestha, Chairperson of INSEC, has advised not to make errors in the facts and data as the target group may be deprived from the policy and program made by the state.
The appeal mentions, ‘The government has launched this grand campaign with the slogan ‘My Census, My Responsibility’ therefore it is an important responsibility of every Nepali to make it a success.’
It has been appealed to provide detailed information about the family members to the enumerators visiting the houses from November 11 to November 25.
“We urge all the conscious citizens and social organizations to play their part in making census a success and we would also like to inform that INSEC will actively participate in increasing public awareness through every medium”- mentioned in the appeal.
