The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 222,288 after additional 1,980 new cases were detected positive in Nepal on November 23, 2020. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 202,067 have recovered. On November 23, the rate of recovery reached 90.9% along with the 3,043 latest discharged after treatment. The ministry reported that 18,884 people are being treated. Out of which, 12,271 are in home isolation, 365 are being treated in ICU, and 63 are being treated with the support of the ventilators. Till now, the death toll has reached 1,337. According to the Ministry, 10,381 swabs tests were conducted in the past 24 hours.
