Training provided to local representative and human rights defenders

Human Rights Education orientation program has been organized in Taulihawa of Kapilbastu on July 1 in support Kaplibastu Municipality and Human Rights Watch Group.

Speaking at the program, parliamentarian Dharma Bahadur Lal Shrivastav of province number 5 said that the backward community must be lifted for the protection and promotion of Human Rights.

He stressed that elected local level representatives must work ensuring the civil, political , economic, cultural and social rights of the people.

Provincial MP Reena Nepali said that the orientation program is very useful for Human Rights defenders and also stressed that local representatives must work in such a way that people can feel the change.

Another provincial MP Sushma Yadav said that the knowledge of human rights and judiciary rights were gained through the human rights education program.

The participants praised and thanked INSEC and watch group for supporting people in the field of education , health and food rights.

Assistant CDO Rameshwor Aryal said that the orientation program helped to clarify the meaning of rights and urged watch group to take such program in the rural part of the country.

Vice mayor Laxmi Kasodhan of Kaplibastu highlighted the difficulties faced while processing the complaints received for the legal action.
