Police deployed from Kandaghar Police Station arrested Tej Bahadur Rana, 42, a resident of Chhatreshwari Rural Municipality–7, Salyan District, for allegedly killing Bimala Rana, 37, who lived at Chapro Chowk, Kathmandu Metropolitan City–32, on March 27.
The accused allegedly beat Bimala, who sustained serious injuries and later died while undergoing treatment at Trauma Hospital. The postmortem of the body was conducted on March 28 at TU Teaching Hospital. The police have stated that they are conducting the necessary investigation regarding this case.
