Over 160 Inmates Who Escaped from Bhimphedi Jail Still at Large

Out of the 440 inmates who escaped from the Bhimphedi, Jail Makwanpur, on the night of 9 September, 168 are still absconding. Jail chief Subash Paudel informed that 272 of the escapees have returned to the jail. Paudel further stated that a total of 309 inmates have been brought back to Bhimphedi jail so far, including 272 of those who escaped from this jail and 37 who had fled from other jails across the country.

Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Makwanpur, Pushkar Bogati, said that the search for the escaped inmates has been intensified.
