During the movement, an inmate who had escaped from Kaski Jail on September 9, 2025, was arrested by the police from Syangja on November 16, 2025.
Police Deputy Superintendent Prasanna Raj Chaudhary informed that Sunil Thapa, 31 of Pokhara Metropolitan City–18 was arrested.
Thapa, who was serving a sentence in Kaski Jail for a check fraud case, was apprehended by the police from Fedikhola Rural Municipality–1.
The police stated that Thapa will be sent back to jail after completing the necessary legal procedures.
