On November 9, police arrested four inmates who had escaped from various jails during the Gen-z protest. Among those arrested are Ghataraj, a resident of Panchpokhari Thangpal Rural Municipality-7, who had escaped from Nakkhu Jail while serving a sentence for rape, Mekh Bahadur Tamang of Chautara Sangachokgadhi Municipality-1, convicted in a Killing case, Ganesh Tamang of Chautara Sangachokgadhi Municipality-7, involved in a killing case who had escaped from Bhimphedi Jail, and Chok Bahadur Shrestha of Chautara Sangachokgadhi Municipality-5, convicted in a vehicular killing case who had escaped from the Central Jail.
According to Inspector Rupesh Shah of the District Police Office, they were handed over to the District Prison Office on November 9.
