Six Election Code Violation Complaints Registered in Darchula

As the election date approaches, incidents of election code violations have begun to increase in Darchula. Meanwhile, Binaod Dahal, the election code monitoring officer, reported that six incidents of code violations have been recorded.

According to Officer Dahal, over 25 individuals have been verbally questioned regarding violations of the code.

During the election period, verbal explanations were sought from those involved in conducting surveys, as well as from elected representatives, teachers, and staff members who were engaged in campaigning. He also mentioned that explanations were requested concerning the use of loud music and the placement of unnecessary banners.

Currently, the first phase involves seeking verbal explanations. Officer Dahal added that if further complaints are received, the Election Commission can proceed with strict written inquiries.
