Based on a video showing the beating of a 13-year-old girl, police have arrested three individuals.
According to police, Sudeen Rai, 21, and Nishan Rai, 20, of Nahar Chowk, Barahakshetra Municipality–2, along with a 17-year-old minor, were arrested on March 28, 29, and 30, respectively. The arrests were made following a video that showed the girl being beaten in the Bais Bigha forest area of the Punarbas region in Barahakshetra Municipality–2 on March 26.
The victim received treatment and a medical examination at the District Hospital on March 27.
