Police have arrested 24 years old Sher Bahadur Chand of Bhagwatimai Rural Municipality-1, Malu and 19 years old Depa Malla of Narayan Municipality-7, Kimugaun on charge of polygamy.
The victim Kabita Shahi had lodged complaint against the accused for polygamy according to DSP Saroj Paudel of DPO.
The complaint includes deprivation of food clothes and not looking after her and four years old daughter by the accused.
The victim complained that she was even expelled from the house after duo married on May 4. The victim along with her daughter is living at her parental home at Bhagwatimai Rural Municipality-2, Rum.
