Police have arrested 26 years old Gajendra Bista of Bhim Datta municipality-4 on October 7 on charge of attempting to rape 38 years old mentally retarded woman.
Police was informed by the locals after the accused attempted to rape the woman. He was immediately arrested by the police after the complaint was lodged according to DSP Gyan Bahadur Seti.
The victim underwent a health checkup at Mahakali Zonal Hospital on Mahendra Nagar on October 6.
