An indefinite curfew has been imposed in East-West Sunsari Highway. Ishwori Prasad Aryal, Chief District Officer has issued a curfew order applicable from July 28 2026, 3: 30pm until further notice. The Administration has prohibited movement, any type of gathering, procession, demonstration, meeting and siege from Itahari Pakli to Koshi Barrage area. As per the letter issued, the curfew has been imposed to the Pakli Chowk East Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City, North and South of Koshi Barrage Bridge, West Rural Municiaplity-8, Right and left from Mahendra Highway to areas within 200 meters of the highway. The order restricts any type of gathering, demonstration, procession, meeting, siege.
