Police arrested Mahesh Sah, 36, of Bhramhapuri Rural Municipality-2, on charges of raping a 34-year-old woman on May 21.
The victim’s family filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Malangwa on June 23, accusing Sah of raping the victim.
The victim underwent a medical examination on June 23 at Sarlahi District Hospital, Malangwa.
