Police arrested Khagendra Karki, 27, of Miklajung Rural Municipality-6, on June 30, on charges of raping a 13-year-old girl.
The victim’s family filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Madhumalla, on June 30, accusing Karki of raping the victim on June 29.
Upon receiving the complaint, the accused was arrested for further investigation.
The victim underwent a medical examination on June 30 at Mangalbare Hospital, Urlabari.
