The CT scan service at the Civil Service Hospital in New Baneshwor has been suspended. According to Acting Executive Director Dr. Ravi Prakash Sharma, the service has remained unavailable for the past six months due to a malfunctioning CT scan machine.
“The breakdown of the CT scan machine has caused significant difficulties for patients,” he said. “We have had to refer patients elsewhere for CT scan services.”
More than 600 patients visit the hospital daily for treatment.
