Police arrested Mahendra Bahadur Budathoki, 62, of Shyamshil, Pauwadung Rural Municipality-1, on June 5, on charges of raping a 26-year-old woman.
The victim’s family filed a complaint on June 5 at the Area Police Office, Tiwaribanjhyang, accusing Budathoki of raping the victim on June 2.
The accused was arrested for further investigation.
The victim underwent a medical examination on June 5 at the district hospital.
